On playing Clemson in the Orange Bowl:

OMARI THOMAS: I was very excited when I found out who we were playing because Clemson is a team that’s been in big games before in won a national championship before. When you have a team like that to go against you are very excited.

On Cade Klubnik:

OMARI THOMAS: If I had to describe him in one word, he’s a winner. You see how he performed in a championship game like that. Something about him makes the offense go and they believe in him. He is a good leader for them. We’re playing against a quarterback who wants to win. When we come into a situation like that, we want to come in and be able to affect the quarterback as a defense. He’s a real good player so it’ll be fun to go against him.

On what being a part of this team means to him:

OMARI THOMAS: Becoming a true brotherhood, a true family, is something that we locked in on a lot this year, just getting closer with each other and showing how much we care about each other.
