On the biggest difference between playing at a JUCO vs SEC:

BYRON YOUNG: Everything. Honestly, JUCO it prepares you but as you know, like physically, just getting ready and I feel like it did mature me for life to be more accountable and responsible. Honestly, that’s really the main priority of the type of school I went to. Obviously, they did help me out as a football player but it’s just a different level and different type of confidence.

On Clemson’s quarterback:

BYRON YOUNG: I feel like he’s a great quarterback. He can run and he can basically do anything. We watch a little bit of his high school film and just watch how he you know moves around the pocket and he’s the same guy. He’s confident. Give him time he’s going to be very dangerous. So, I just feel like we have to do what we do best and pressure him and make him make bad throws.

On how he expects Clemson’s offense to come out:

BYRON YOUNG: Honestly, I expect them to start running and I feel like kind of like every team, they’re going to do whatever works. They’re going to start off with this and then whatever works they’re going to continue with that. There’s no reason to switch you know, if it’s working, so that’s what I see them doing. You know, whatever works at that moment, they’re going to stick with it and keep doing it until we stop it. So, I go to just stop everything they throw at us and you know do the best that I do.
