Q. This season has obviously been a really good one for you guys. What would you say?

KOBE KING: I say our team is resilient and adaptable. Certain things have not gone our way throughout the games and throughout the season. We responded accordingly in the way we should. Guys don’t point a finger or blame anyone. Some things happen on the field, next play mentality.

We go out there and we take it play by play. I don’t think the guys on our team really thought about making a big play or being, like, a hero. Just guys doing their job and trusting each other. We all play as one.

Q. What do you think really helped bring your team together?

KOBE KING: I would say Minnesota. I would also say Oregon. That Oregon game, we definitely needed it just from what we had seen from them and how different a style of play they presented to us.

But I would definitely say Minnesota because they fought hard, we fought, and we definitely learned a lot about our tempo, how we played, how hungry we were and how we wanted to finish.

But I would say Oregon as well. That definitely just helped us change our mentality, change different looks. Those two games helped the most.

Q. Oregon is a common opponent. Have you had a chance to watch any of the Boise State games with them?

KOBE KING: Oh, yeah, I watched it multiple times. Oregon is a great team. It was definitely Oregon season, but two great teams. I just think it’s going to be just like any other week; focusing on the game plan, focusing on who we got to stop and just being very detailed in that.

Q. This will be your 15th game. How have you adjusted your schedule compared to past years?

KOBE KING: The coaches definitely did a great job helping us adjust and shift to a new style of college football. But guys are brought in enough to embrace what the coaches are giving us. Embrace the schedule, embrace the model of how things are going to look. Guys are being professional about it.

But guys are taking it day by day. We’re not really getting too ahead of ourselves or too far behind. We’re just taking it day-to-day. Guys are prepared and embraced by what’s going on around here, trying to win this game. It’s not really a bowl game. But we’ve got to win this game. That’s what we’re focused on.
