Charlotte 49ers College Football Pregame Quote, 10/25/2022

Obviously, it’s been an interesting week around here. The guys have done a great job of rallying. We had a great day today out there. It was great for our guys to get moving again and get out there participating and playing the sport they love and they did a great job. It was fun being out there again.

On running the team and the expectations:

I respect and appreciate everybody on our team and on our staff for being the men that they are and getting these guys ready to play. I just want to continue what we’ve started and we want to make sure we finish the right way. We want to get out there and win games and obviously it starts this week. We can’t win them all if we don’t win this one.

On his first day at practice:

It’s all about getting out to practice today and shaking some of the cobwebs out because we didn’t get out on the field Monday. We had our plan together and we went out and executed today. They had a great day. Guys really rallied around each other. And, that’s really what it’s about — about being with each other for the last four weeks and making sure that we get out there and show everybody what we’ve been building for the last eight weeks.
