On spring practice:

Spring went by well. Everyone has had their head down and keep coming out to get better and better. I am looking forward to the season.

On missing last season:

Devastating that I couldn’t be out there with my boys and going to war with them. We have a new year and, I am really looking forward to this season and being out there this year.

On Head Coach Billy Napier:

Coach Napier has done a great job emphasizing accountability. Also, teamwork and bringing the team together and building relationships. That’s a big thing he has brought in.

On the coaching strategy:

He wants you to go out and be physical with it. He likes us hitting people and the physicality.

On taking a pen and paper everywhere:

Whether it’s a meeting or team meeting, you are required to have a pen and paper and write down things that you feel like need to be written down and things to remember.
