On Gunner Stockton’s personality:

He is one of those guys that can just flip a switch. Off the field, he is completely different than what he is on the field. He is a competitor at the end of the day. Obviously, when he was in high school, he was one of the best to ever do it in Georgia. He just has the fire underneath him.

On how his MMA training translates to the field:

Just reaction time, hand placement, location of where to put your hands, being able to use leverage and use people’s body weights against them. That’s just basically my job on our defense. I’m going against these guys who are always bigger than me, and just having to have great hand placement and using their body weight against them.
