On being in the Orange Bowl:

The Orange Bowl is one of the best bowls you can play in. Obviously, Miami is a great place to be in. I’m super happy to be down here. But I think the biggest thing is just trying to go get a win. That’s the biggest thing is trying to find a way to win a football game. That’s what really boils down to. As much as we enjoy the festivities and all that stuff at the end of the day we have game to play. That just is what it is whether the game was in Miami or if we were playing in Wyoming.

On South Florida:

I think one of the things that makes this bowl game so unique is the amount of activities that you can do. There’s so much to do down here. Even on the beach you had the availability to rent bikes and those type of things. You see people on scooters. There are restaurants and just so much stuff to do within one place. I think that’s what makes Miami so unique is that it’s so active – it’s so party-centric. It’s a great place to be it’s definitely a place you can have a lot of fun for sure.

On RT Amarius Mims:

Of course I miss him. Absolutely. I wish he was here but I think that’s up to coach Smart to comment on that situation.
