On participating in Day for Kids:

I think the best thing about it is just giving back to the community, just being an inspiration to the kids. I know when I was younger and I got a chance or the opportunity to meet college athletes or meet somebody that’s doing what I aspire to do, you know, it kind of gives me a little bit inspiration and motivation to continue doing what I’m doing. And I think that if I can do that and be that same inspiration for the next generation of athletes and doctors and lawyers and I’d love to do my part and just be that be that leader and that person that somebody can look up to in the next generation.

On partnering with Kentucky players during the Day for Kids event:

You’d think we can kind of competitive, we have to play a game on Saturday. But, you know, we’re all chill. We’re all getting along and everything. But on Saturday, you know, it definitely is grind time, you definitely have to compete. But as of right now, we’re just all having fun.

On enjoying the bowl week experience:

You really don’t want to focus on the game too much ‚Äì just having moments like these where you just wind down and kind of relax and don’t have to think about [how] you have to go on Saturday and play 60 minutes for a game. It’s definitely not hard to kind of get away from the game and kind of take a few minutes to kind of just bask in the moment of what’s going on right now and where you’re at in life right now. I’m definitely just excited and enjoying the moment.
