On Will Levis’ personality off the field:

He’s a great dude off the field. He’s a great leader. He’s always trying to lead the team. He has some jokes here and there, but he’s a quarterback. He’s everything you want in a quarterback, a straight up leader. He’s a great guy.

On Kentucky being a football school now:

Yes, we are a football school. I’m proud to say that. We’ve just been working constantly to build our reputation. To us, it’s not a surprise anymore to do good. That’s the standard. The standard is to win every game that we play.

On why he chose to come back for a fifth season:

It was a thought. It was also hard to really think about leaving when after the bowl game I was kind of banged up. So, I had to recover from that. But I really wanted to come back to Kentucky to win. I feel like we have a really good team, and I feel like we can make some noise in the SEC. That was really the big reason I came back.

On what it is like playing against Louisville:

It’s very important. That’s who runs the state. I love playing in the game. It’s one of my favorite games every year. That is a very important game to the university and everyone that is from Kentucky. I feel like that’s their Super Bowl. I love that game.
