Question: Caleb Downs with Ohio State has probably been the most successful against Tyler Warren that we’ve seen covering Penn State this year. Do you consider yourself the kind of player who can make that impact in this particular match up, when you look at Warren?

I mean, yeah, definitely. But at the end of the day, I mean, it’s never about, you know, me versus him. We are the safeties and Adon is an amazing player too. So, I mean, whoever is down there covering, even our linebackers might be covering too. Whoever’s covering him, they’re going to go out there and get the job done.

Question: Have you guys seen a player like tight end Tyler Warren from Penn State yet this season?

Definitely not. Like I said, for a player that big, he moves pretty well. He has pretty good feet, and like I said, he’s a physical guy. But no, we haven’t played a tight end like him at all.

Question: How would you describe Al Golden’s impact on the defense, and just the way he has kind of helped you guys get to this point?

Yeah, I think it starts with his level of care. You got to have coaches that, obviously really care about you. And, obviously, really buy in to the way what he’s trying to coach us in this game. I just think that care factor and who he is as a person just inspires everybody in the team. And we go, we all go out there, just play for him, because of the type of energy he provides.

Question: When you look at Penn State’s running back tandem, Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen, two guys with different styles like that, what kind of challenge does that present?

I’d say they’re both really good backs. Like I said, they are a little bit different they both run really hard. I’d say I think Singleton is more speedy. I think he is a little more of a speed type guy. And then Allen is more of a downhill type of back. I think it’s a little bit similar to our running backs Jeremiyah Love, more like a speed type of guy. And Jadarian Price, he’s a downhill guy, but he’s not as downhill as Allen. I think he really, like really wants contact. So, I think that there is contrast between the two.
