On how the offensive line has held together:

I think it just shows that our offensive line is resilient, tough and looks adversity in the eye.

On the difference between last year’s and this year’s Notre Dame team:

I think both versions are similar because they play relentlessly. Everybody is flying to the ball and even though they have a couple of injuries, guys are stepping up and they look really good as a defense.

On the unit’s growth from week to week:

I think we have grown closer as a unit than I’ve ever seen before. I’ve been here for five years, and I’ve been on a lot of offensive lines. I think this is the closest one we’ve had by far.

On how it feels to be going to the national championship game:

I’d say it feels like a dream, but at the same time you have to take it day by day. You can’t look forward to the game. You have to have a good Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday practice in order to build up to that game.

On the biggest things to work on this week:

It’s more mental. Seeing what the defensive scheme is and also making sure you have the right technique for those defenders.
