Q. Have you given any thought at all to the extra year of eligibility you have?

LB STEELE CHAMBERS: No, I try to keep that in the back burners. Trying to focus on this one game and one game only.

Q. How do you manage that while knowing that it could be the last time? I would think you would want some time to soak up the moment?

LB STEELE CHAMBERS: Time just keeps moving on. No matter what the decision is, you have to try to have fun in the moment.

Q. What do you think about being in this venue, playing where Buckeyes have done some business here?

LB STEELE CHAMBERS: It’s awesome. You get lost in this place, it’s freakin’ huge. There have been a lot of Buckeyes that came in the stadium and did great things. Just realize you have to pay tribute to them.

Q. And how much is this a redemption kind of game?

LB STEELE CHAMBERS: We try not to think about redemption. Just putting our heads down and doing the work, and hopefully at the end, it ends up the way we want it to.

Q. When you look at the past month or whatever it’s been since Ann Arbor, how has the team come together? Obviously, not where you were last year playing for the title, but you’re playing for something. How have you bonded around that?

LB STEELE CHAMBERS: I attribute all that to Coach [Ryan] Day. He’s really brought the troops together. We were definitely down after that game. But he did a good job just getting everyone together and just relaying the information that we still have a job to do, we still have another game to win at the end of the year and we can’t go out with a loss. I’d put it all on Coach Day.

Q. What was that conversation around, there are no opt outs on defense. What was that conversation like? Was it just the idea of getting the bad taste out of your mouth and wanting to finish with a win here?

LB STEELE CHAMBERS: It was the idea we’ve put so much work in the offseason, it’s not all for naught. We lost a game, but we did all that work for something so we have to end up winning this game.
