A lot of emotions here, what is running through your mind?

We just lost and that was my last game with some of my brothers. I’m going to miss them.

Do you have another year of eligibility left?

Yeah, I’m a junior, so I have one more year left now.

You said you’re going to go out. I’m sorry. I just want to be clear.

I said I am going to miss my brothers. It’s the last game of the season. Some of the seniors are going to be gone. I’m going to miss my brothers.

Trading punches in the fourth, being part of a game like that?

It was a great game. Notre Dame is a great team.  Coach Franklin did his best to prepare us for this game. We just didn’t execute on a couple plays. And then, you know, it’s a small margin of error at this level.

Can you take us through that interception?

Yeah, they’re dropped in the flat. The opposite D-end did a great job of putting pressure on the quarterback. He threw the ball; I saw the ball. I just tried to go up and make a play.

You don’t have many of those in your career. I’m guessing.

I had one freshman year against Indian, I believe. But other than that, no sir.

What has the playoff experience meant?

I’m very thankful that the College Football Playoff is now 12 teams. It gives Penn State an opportunity. The standard is for us to get here and win these games. So, like I said earlier, Coach Franklin did a great job of preparing everybody on the team to be ready. But ultimately, some of us, or the whole team didn’t execute on a couple plays.
