Cheez-It Bowl Day for Kids at Fun Spot America

On running back Jirehl Brock:

Everyone loves being around Jirehl. He’s just another one of the guys who was coming to Iowa State on a purpose and a mission do something. So just because he hasn’t got a lot of snaps doesn’t mean, for him, like he’s just going to bounce and he’s quick to go somewhere he’s going to play. He’s loyal to this, and to this team and the culture and everything that we’ve been trying to build.

On playing his final game at Iowa State:

I’m trying to enjoy all the relationships and moments with my teammates this whole week being here. It’s been special, but you know, it is what it is. I’m excited for the next chapter in my life as well. But it’s definitely going to be sad when, you know, the fourth quarter ends and that’s my last time in cardinal and gold.

On enjoying the fun of Cheez-It Bowl week:

It’s been a great time just be able to get in some good weather and enjoy one another. For us seniors at least, this is it, so I think all these events and stuff do help us create some more memories before we all head out. And, you know, it’s been cool to get to know some of the Clemson guys, too.
