Q. In preparing for the Fiesta Bowl, have you done anything differently, or has your routine been different in preparation for a bowl game versus how you would prepare during the regular season?

BUCKY IRVING: No, I think we do a pretty good job on taking every game and treating every game like it’s the same, no matter the opponent. We’re going to go out here and treat every game and every opponent like it’s our last one. Even though it’s our last one, we’re still going to go out and give it our all.

Q. Going back to the Pac-12 Championship game, how have you guys been able to shake that off and move past that?

BUCKY IRVING: I mean, you win some and you lose some. Either way, I feel like our team knows how to bounce back and have a chip on our shoulder going into the next game. So we always find ways that we can learn from the wins and the losses and grow as a team.

Q. Going back to Selection Sunday, what went through your mind when you heard Oregon’s placement? And then when you heard that you would be playing Liberty?

BUCKY IRVING: I mean, it was exciting. We saw that we were getting selected in the Fiesta Bowl. So we always know a New Year’s Six bowl is a great opportunity to go out here and showcase our talents.

I mean, we were all excited. We got a pretty good football team that we’re about to face that’s undefeated. So it will be a fun game. So just go out here and have fun.
